Glad you like Einaudi, it is piano mood music, but he's the best at it. If you hear piano in film/TV it is most likely him. "The Piano" CD is better, check out 4,9 and 15. Think Nyman really had to come up with a new style of music here, he based it on Scottish folk, to match the film set in the 1800's. I'm only copying what's others have done and trying not to cock it up. Thanks for the compliment, much appreciated. |

She made a big pot. Enough for now and some to freeze. She makes real good chicken soup.
Just what the Dr. ordered.

She's a good woman, Bill. And I understand you get cookies every now and then, too.

Good evening to the Coffeeshop!
Bill, I hope your cold is getting much better and that you'll be in a great health soon, my tires would need some air right now so please be quick! Wes, great looking house my friend! I especially like your music corner with the Takamine (I used to have one of those, they sound great). I just wanted to let you all know that today is my fourth anniversary with my lovely girlfriend, the woman of my life! We haven't quite celebrated yet (we had a busy weekend) but we'll take the time next week to have a little dinner together! ...And what's better than listening to some Dire Straits for the occasion?

Morning all, just got back from vacation to the Missouri Ozarks to visit my brother and his wife and then up to Council Bluffs, Iowa for a wedding. Update on my RA, I ran into an artist who makes jewelry for a living(and excellent jewelry btw.) at an Art Fair in my hometown. He has a severe case of RA(we are both on the same level of immune suppressants)as well. We compared notes and his health went south the exact time(end of April-beginning of May)as mine did. His late Spring and Summer have been physically awful and his pain level has been off the charts. And so far Fall hasn't been a breeze at all.....we are both hopeful that with Winter coming the pain and swelling will go down.....
Take it easy.....Leo

Good morning coffeeshop...arrrrrrrr, its been one of those Monday mornings....; We all slept in- not even my son's blackberry went off...so everyone is late!!
This is what Mark was like this am: whew...just keeping out of his way was a challenge! And then my son missed his school bus, so I had to drive him in; well...on the way there, this "type-A" woman with pouffy blonde hair is tailgating me! (i'm going my usual 10k over the limit...the nerve of her!),so,instead of using the shortcut, I end up taking the long way to school-just to pi$$ her off! thereby making my son a little late for school....(vindictiveness= one of my character flaws...) Well, on the way home i slipped "Wes & Carls" greatest hits cd into my player, rolled open the sunroof,(despite the chill), and proceeded to calm down....thanks to some beautiful music I am myself again... |

Michelle I bet Carl's rock sends you into road rage and you want to ram pouffy hair woman off the road. Whereas my piano will calm you down, and you let everyone cut in and take the scenic route home. |

It isn't my fault at all Wes! Besides, your British accent has much more impact than my insecure French Canadian one! P.S.: Is that voodoo doll made out of spider webs? What a lovely attention!
