Just picked up my SD43 and the bracelet is slightly squeaking when I move my wrist around. Is this common? Anyone else have this issue when their watch was brand new?

Yes common, similar to that new car smell. Enjoy it, it won't be around long...

Yeah, I love that sound. It eventually goes away, but (to me) it’s a reminder that the watch is new and fun while it lasts. Enjoy, and congrats on a great new watch.

Yup. Mine did the same.

You can dunk it in soapy water or shower with it to expedite the process.

Hawaii wedding must have been special.

It was our first time at that resort, very nice. Great area for wrist watching!

4th time in Maui...probably the last for a while. Trips from NJ are brutal.

I’d like to see a poll of who’s taken off the divers extension or not. I found it to be crucial.

I just got my SD43 yesterday, but I asked the grey dealer if he'd remove it before shipping. I has a DSSD and it fit terrible with the extension, so I could only assume it'd be the same.

Yesterday, I put a Zulu strap, being thicker than a Nato and having 5 thick steel rings I think it fit very well, nothing like the Oyster bracelet but it is an option for a change. I share 2 photos.

Thank you and yes it really does.

The many photos I've seen on TRF does not do the SD43 justice. I wanted something a little different from the Sub and this just clicks all the boxes for me anyways!!

Same here, just picked one up a couple weeks ago. I love the slightly larger size and weight vs sub. It's just right for me.
