That strap looks great. Where did you obtain from?

Does it had a bit of height to the watch?

LIKE! T4S! Honestly I'm in love with the SD43's bracelet but I have to say this is a super-nice combo and if I had the talent (& tools) to remove / attach bracelets w/o damage, I'd definitely give it a go

Thought this was a cool picture that captured the matte dial, red text and LEC pretty well!

You nailed it with this Zulu strap amigo.
As you said, unlike the NATO, the Zulu is thicker and the extra silver hardware make the strap a perfect match to the SD.

So glad to be able to finally join this group!! Only thing is I think the cyclops isn’t aligned with the date window. Seems like it’s slightly tilted when looking at it straight on. Any ideas - or is this acceptable and others have it as well on their SD43s?

The SD43 Official Owners Thread

Seems like quite a few sd43s online have this. Maybe this is my ocd and I should shut up and enjoy the watch!

I think the cyclops bubble sort of distorts the horizontal lines on the top and bottom of the date window box at different angles. Noticed that on mine. Look straight on, then rotate your wrist slowly and i think what you'll find is the lines wind up matching nicely with the top and bottom edges of the cyclops. Also interesting how the magnification changes as the date window approaches the edges of the bubble.

Does Rolex make an Oysterflex for the SD43?

I know Rubber B makes a glide-lock series but I don't like the SEL like ends vs what Rolex has with the Oysterflex.

SD43 Tip

Hey everyone. Purchase a SD43 one year ago. I’m a Navy guy and wear the watch daily (hard on it) ran into really slow times, low amp, and date change at 15min after. Took it in for service and found poor lubrication and a scared second wheel. In case you into the same, looks like a simple service does the trick. Today the watch is 1.5s fast. Lately it’s been up to 1hr slow a day. I haven’t gotten it back yet, but the technician (wizard) told me that was it. Hope this helps anyone in the future.
