If I could only have one, the Submariner would always be my choice. I am fortunate enough to also have a Bluesy, so the best of both worlds.

I have a date and cyclops on four others, so for me, in this colorway, it has to be the Sub. I just love the symmetry

I have a DJ so I can't say I am not a fan of the cyclops. However, I feel for a Submariner the ND is so clean and simple. Everyone has a Submariner Date, but true enthusiasts have NDs.

Date because of the color options.

ND all day if they offered a colored bezel or dial

I think it depends.

If it is your only watch (or only Rolex), I can see getting the date version, which gives you the cyclops and some nice color and metal options.

However, if you have a portfolio of watches (including more than one Rolex), you likely already have the date function/cyclops. In this case, the ND makes sense, especially if you actually use the watch for diving.

For me, it is the ND. Simplicity in stainless.

Frankly, if you are a diver, the Sub Date models with green or blue bezel would impractical as they would be hard to read underwater. Sort of poser...especially in PM or TT...

But they both are great watches. I’d be equally happy with either.
I agree with all four of you!

This. A LV no date would be a must own for me.
