Mastermixer. I'm sorry you have to go through this experience. It can be all consuming. Just another warning with this. A friend of mine sold a $1600 watch a few months ago and the buyer used a stolen credit card through paypal. He only found out because after 6 weeks he had money removed from the account. Apparently the legitimate card holder noticed the charge and informed the credit card company who must have eventually contacted paypal and had the charge reversed. Of course the thief was long gone with the watch. So this is another issue with paypal forum members should be aware.
Best of luck for a successful outcome. DJ |

Thanks for the info. Many buyers on EBay always want to use PayPal so that the seller will have the burden of proof. I keep my fingers crossed on some transactions on EBay. So far so good.

Has anyone found it amazing that both parties are on Ebay and TRF? Also that the accused since being a member here didnt chime in to defend themselves. Not to mention the avatar has been changed. None of my business. Just curious. Sorry

Of course both parties are on ebay that's how the deal got done, and the accuser is on this forum that's how it was brought up. |

Hey Guys,
Just for an update I won the dispute case with Paypal. Now she has done a credit card charge back so I have to fight that. I am still working with the police as well. Robert |

AWESOME ROBERT! She doesn't take losing very well does she? I would press charges if possible since she clearly wants to play hard ball. I hope you can resolve this matter and put it behind you. Maybe the credit card company will use common sense as well and decide in your favor quickly.

I don't see why you would be involved any longer? The dispute is now between PP and her CC Company. I have gone threw this in the past.

Well i would say if paypal sided with you - then she is guilty! That's not going to sit well with the police or her Credit card. What a bitch. Well done again - i am really pleased when JUSTICE prevails. Could someone clarify what a credit card charge back is and why/how can someone do that - thanks in advance. |

BTW, wouldn't this warrant FELONY charges due to the high dollar value of the watch she has tried to steal from you?
