seems they did a very small batch of LE, with different dial colors than the originals, it is a little different, of course had they released the exact same watch that would be just crazy and dishonest, lucky guys who got a LE with a special dial of these models, very cool

I generally agree. In doing so they practically admit that the 5070 is a more desirable piece. Why not just release some special dial 5170/5270/5204s.

Because of course the 5070 and 5970 are the 2 most "legendary" pieces from the discontinued ones, and the actual ones don't have the same appeal to collectors, for me the 5270 is as nice as the 5970, the 5170 is a great looking watch but IMHO the 5070 beats it in the looks department

Understand your point, but based on the REALLY SMALL number they rereleased in DIFFERENT aesthetic it is a quite meaningless non affecting situation I believe. I can't get my hands on a new London 5070. Can you?

Just watching the Monaco F1, I swear one of the pit-lane guys had this exact watch. He was wearing big red shoes as well, mind you.

I believe the RM10 is in house movement and the new rm11-03 will also be in house movement. Not sure about the rm37

Not according to this article. Is it out of date?

Hmm, anyone else notice this strange coincidence?

RM = Richard Mille
RM = Ronald McDonald

I stand corrected. The RM10 was discontinued and replaced with the RM29 which has the in-house movement.

Also the RM67 is an in-house movement.

Do you have a source for this? So the only in house RMs are the 29 and 67?

No not harassing, just not buying all the b.s. It just seems to me that you JUST owned a RED RM11 of the brand that "maybe" you bought at the wrong price and you are putting the brand down because of it? I had the complete opposite experience with the brand.. I own many watches and just one RM. You have ALSO owned Lange, Patek, AP and flipped them ALL from what I can tell and you didn't lose any money as you say above? Break even? Really?

It's not my fault they made a watch that matches the Happy Meals your mommy buys you....

El1125, u mad

You'll deny it, but if you weren't mad, you wouldn't be following queuecumber around like this. Seems kinda sad. Particularly when this is a fun thread. No need for you to take it so badly.

If you really like RM, then enjoy the humor.

Despite the bickering, I still like the watch. It just needs a new strap.

I'm getting similar treatment elsewhere from an angry Texan. Bad form.

Really, if some random person on the internet doesn't like my watch, I would like to think I'm mature enough to shrug it off...

I am not in the target customer demographic, so my opinion is useless here.

I really am not mad I just hate dumb B/S. I think 2-3 people who aren't owners of RM or Patek or ANY luxury high end watch brand should even be commenting. What experience can you/they possibly have to lend anything meaningful to the thread or be able to comment intelligently? It's just quite ridiculous. If you are an owner and have lost money on a watch (by not listening to others advice) that's one thing, but as a non owner with no experience never having OWNED any of these brands discussed, IMO should try listening more and talking less...
