Titanium seems to reflect very little. It's the ultimate "under the radar" material for those who don't want to be noticed. You'll get no attention whatsoever.

Perfect for all those "Is it safe to travel with my Rolex" threads. You'll never get mugged for wearing a Pelagos!

Looks good, think it will be a great seller for Tudor. Too similar to my sub in black, but if this was released in blue then would definitely be adding one of these

It looks like the dial is matte, but now the bezel is brushed sunray finish in the ceramic.
Cool. Needs date.

I also like how they've gone with the coarser edge on the bezel and the crown. I have a regular Pelagos, and the fine texture of those edges is drawback, imo.

Absolute home run for Tudor this release. I certainly don't want for any more time only dive watches but i'm sure this will sell superbly.

One of the best elements of this release, whether one looks to add the Pelagos 39 to their collection or not, is that Tudor are getting on top of the dimensions that people are really, really are into. It bodes really well for future releases.

The fact they even addressed the thickness issue on their instagram release pic shows how much they're responding to the community "And as we know you'll ask, it's 11.8mm thick.

From the looks of it, it will probably wear similar to a 5 digit sub. A good thing imo.

You really get the feeling that “watch guys” are running things at Tudor, but I don’t get that from Rolex anymore.

Great move by Tudor.

But I think the BB58 is going to get a major update this year; fingers crossed.

Is it true this is Grade 2 titanium and not Grade 5?

Rolex is all about marketing.

Watch Forumula 1 some time. Every shot:
"Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex "

"Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex "

"Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex Rolex "

It's pretty crazy how they're able to plaster every available surface!

Given the glacial pace of Rolex design evolution, I think your statement has been true of Tudor for quite some time.

However, I still think they need to push further beyond their Rolex design cues on other watch lines. The Pelagos is one way. The BB Ceramic is the other.

Nice release! An appropriate apology for oversizing the Ranger…

looks great..just bought a Tudor BB58 black so missed this. I would prefer the Pelagos indices versus the gilt rounded BB58 indices. This may cannibalize some sales away from the new Tudor Ranger

I wonder sometimes why manufacturers try to fix something that is not broken. that clasp pointed retainer Tudor logo shape must surely hurt if someone were to apply more pressure. the earlier flat design on all Black Bays is so much more ergonomic.

Omg this watch is a killer!
Wow!!

My friend just told me that the watch which has grade 2 titanium will get darker with time…

That’s something worth checking deeply.

Lots of overlap between this and the black dial BB58, but I personally like the new Pelagos a lot more. I have 2 divers already, but if I were in the market for a 39mm diver, there is no way I’d choose the BB58 over this.

Here is a hands on review video. It’s in German though. The watch looks pretty good, the sunburst finish on the dial is barely noticeable:
