A year? One can get that collection in under 24 hours.

That’s not a collection, it’s just a spending spree. To each his own. Enjoy them!

Nothing else in their lineup grabs me, including the hideous YG/green Daytona or the historically maligned ‘hulk’. Hell I think the Tudor is a more significant design piece than anything Rolex offered recently.

I love these posts.

Your AD weighed you up and took you down like a lion on a gazelle.
He drip fed your FOMO over a year and turned it into a lot of money in his wallet. I bet he's sitting like a praying mantis waiting for the next live one to walk through the door.

It's impressive how marketing and FOMO really gets it's teeth into people and makes them do stuff like this.

disingenuous FLEX thread title- of course it's possible if you throw enough cash in a year at your AD. I'd love to know your total spend if you had to pony up $300k just to get the Daytona to be like JM...

maybe "12 months, 1 AD...it's all possible with $850,000" ?

So, congrats on a lot of Rolex- Your AD's in-store footage of your transactions is going to turn up in a WOS salesman's training video....

ironic that the meanest "hate" post in this thread comes from the OP himself, aimed at drgoro's collection and those not- a-Rolex-brands...

Hey guys, what if they’re all fake and he’s trolling you all??!!!!

Seriously tho I find a box full of nothing but Rolex’s a bit boring and unimaginative to be honest.

Good on you OP for compiling THE list of all current hot sports models, got to appreciate that folk around here have been collecting for a while and these types of threads often come across in the wrong way. After all, anything is possibly if you throw enough money at it and there are many WIS that don't have the means to build such a collection over a lifetime, let alone 12 months.

I often have issues with 'collectors' who build a collection in a 'scatter gun' fashion as it would appear from the outside you are just blindly buying into the hype train and not spending time building a solid collection around your lifestyle and habits that will genuinely assist you through life and the varying situations you find yourself in.

But again, well done on building this collection and I hope it makes you happy.

That said, i was not aware Rolex re-released the GMT LN. Wasn't that model discontinued back in 2018? Are you sure its not just BNIB?

2019 baselworld was the official discontinuation I believe (I've just bought a 2019 piece for reference). Interesting that some came with the new cards through 2020 but I'm not surprised some continued to trickle out.

OP, you give lots of people on here who want hot pieces hope. Personally, I would trim some of the pieces you are less excited about, keep your favourites and use the cash to dabble in some other cool pieces either from other brands or vintage Rolex if you want to stay with one brand. Just my 2c, but regardless enjoy what you like!

B381 wins hands down for All platform Social Media Rolex Flex of the month for May 2021.

Now, maybe someone should teach him the meaning of humility...

Yeah...I need instant admiration from random internet people. I want to show them I can do what they can’t. I’m awesome.
