Awesome! Pair the 5.0 Coyote in the Mustang with a 426 Hemi in the Jeep and you will always be smiling.

Is there some sort of calibration buried in the settings menu somewhere?

I don’t think the CA settings are user accessible.

It can be a software or hardware calibration problem (or a combination). The sensors are in the windshield and grill. Toyota looked at it and said the sensors are fine. It might be time for a new Prius.

Jeep getting traded in for the Mustang, but it's a nice thought for sure

Never thought I’d hear myself say it, but the new Prius is a cool looking car

It is! I, also, never thought I'd say that to myself. There are a few parked in my neighborhood (white, of course, as this is SoCal where a Prius or Tesla accounts for, what seems like, half of the cars on the road).

Also, I just thought of another pet peeve: Brake lights and/or turn signals that are located toward the bottom/rear bumper. Like on this Venza:

https://cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/...rior/rear-view (turn signals are the clear plastic under the silver trim on the bottom third of the car)

or on this Bolt EUV: https://www.thedrive.com/news/41945/...d-turn-signals

That's not where my eyes are conditioned to look for turn signals!

The hardest part about buying my first Prius three generations ago was getting over being seen in such a dorky looking car. The latest generation is an attractive car. They are selling well.

This on an SRT?
Aclassic case of CAFE in action where the manufacturer is building them to a rule.

I know people were deactivating DOD on the LS engines years ago and I assume it was done simply through a tune.
Perhaps that's available to you?

It pretty great actually, definitely more power than the 5.7 but time will tell on reliability

What F150 do you have ? My current and at least the previous 3 or 4 F150's have an auto dim side view mirror (drivers side only). Several trucks ago it also included passenger side. Its activated by same sensors as the windshield mount rear view mirror.

It doesn't seem to dim for me, but I'll check it out closer to see if they are dimming. Or if perhaps it was somehow shut off. I'm excited thinking of the improvement thanks

Oh yessss! A manual with a honking V8...your feet will be dancing on those pedals. Love it. Nothing like a heel and toe and the V8 burbling on downshifts.

I hate how every car is starting to get these iPads stuck on the dashboard look. Hate that.

I have that on my Audi SQ5 and hate it too. The newer Audi's have done away with it. I hope the Q5 redesign does as well.

I found this function on a rental car last year and pressed the panic button every time the engine stopped.

Had the car for a week and could not get used to it.

There's nothing like having a co-pilot. A great option.

When we moved down from Northern California to LA, 3 years ago Malika was my co-pilot. She was a big fan of night time driving when there are tons of lights with the music cranked up.

She said it reminded her of her disco days.

We've had her for about 20 years. She around 25 we think.

She's an African Grey and a party animal.

But she's still safety conscious and wears a seat belt.

Why do GM vehicles have to have a long message after you start the vehicle telling you what memory settings are active?

I hate it so much. I just want to get going and need more relevant info… are doors open… is the parking break on…anything..?

I’m already in the seat, I think I can surmise what the memory seats and wheel are set to. Not sure what rocket scientist invented that feature.
