As another data point - I got mine last week. I cycled through the month manually, no issues. So far - no issues whatsoever. I'm not claiming the issue is "resolved" but so far no issues with my GMT. If anything I'm liking it much more than I thought I would.

I haven't had any problems either and got it right when they were first released. There's some doubt now that mine might start having issues at some point but I also feel if it hasn't cropped up yet I might be in the clear. Have we had any data points from anyone that wore theirs for a month or two before the date acted up?

Mine was ok for 2 or 3 weeks. Then went wrong. Then I cycled for a few months and it was fine for over a month. Then it went wrong again, this it’s trip to RSC....

One of mine (my son's) started after a few days. Mine started skipping after wearing it for 30 days.

I've had my GMT for a little over 2 weeks and it's jumping about 1.5 days every other day. Just cycled through a month to see what might happen. What's the process for sending it to a SC? Can I bring it to any Tudor AD (even if I purchased at another AD?) and have them send it for me?

Got a call last week from RSC; movement parts on order and estimated 4 weeks until they come in. My guess is that they’re just going to replace the movement, which is fine as long as it works. I don’t buy the over or under lubricated fix, and this news just reinforces that.

Perhaps, but the 3186 had date issues too as recall.

I'm the same boat, but a bit over 5 weeks now. No issues, and my most accurate watch. Not to take away from the seriousness of the topic, but I think I need to stop clicking on this post as if it'll change its tone somehow, and just keep on enjoying my 'go to' GMT.

Hi guys, for those who got the watch back from RSC do they ship it with Tudor branded service pouch ? I wonder how it differs from Rolex.

Yep. Comes with a Tudor pouch. The pouch is black with red Tudor writing. Pretty much the same as the Rolex one.

Rolex has a similar issue when they released the DD40.

which RSC did you end up using? Are you sure they are replacing the whole movt or just a part within the movt? Seems alil unr-realistic to replace the whole movement.

Thanks

I just spoke with a customer service rep at the Dallas RSC. She told me it will be another 6-8 weeks. They are waiting on parts from Geneva.

I sure miss the watch, but hopefully this issue will be fixed.

Man imagine how we felt when the DD40 had the same issue. Thats a $30k watch - lets just say myself and a huge number of members were really pissed off when they didnt properly test the DD40. ALL the first batches of them had date change issues I reckon anything dated 2015-2016 for sure had the issues.

I've had numerous DD40s in my hands since (more than 5) and none of the new ones have the late date flip issue anymore.

Still disappointing Tudor has the dame date issues. I mean common its a simple date complication.

I sent it to Dallas. I recall a number of earlier threads regarding service on the in-house Tudor movements when they were first released indicating that they replaced entire movements rather than components. Not sure if that still applies. I would be pretty disappointed if it took another 8 weeks, which would put me 3 months without it.

Mines at the RSC in Dallas. It’s been checked in and is waiting on a technician to look at it.

At this point, I guess I'm glad my 2 watches had the issue early on. It would drive me nuts just thinking that any day it could happen.

Hopefully, no more worries once I get them back.

So an update 5 weeks after the date jumper fix by London RSC...

everything has been running fine and the date jumps correctly and consistently every day.

I think i may have let the watch run down twice in the period, but otherwise has been running continually since the fix.

at the risk of tempting fate (!), i think it looks like a robust fix

Got mine back from Dallas today. They didn’t say in detail what they did, just that they checked the movement.

Same here, a few minutes after midnight for me, but that's not unusual for mechanical watches.

I've worn mine daily with the exception of two days, for two months straight since I got it new from my AD and have had zero issues, but for the fact that everything else in my watch box doesn't get worn now.

I still don't think all GMTs have the date change issue, although it's clear that some do, and I hope Tudor gets this straightened out quick for everyone.
