As a Rolex enthusiast and collector I must admit that I was ECSTATIC when I initially heard rumors that Rolex was planning on introducing a new complication! I couldn't wait to see the unveil at Basel 2012! From the Basel unveil we all came to realize that the Sky-Dweller has a bitter sweet design that you either hate or love! Aesthetics aside collectors must draw conclusions that the first Rolex annual calander from our beloved company is one to be reckoned with! I am definitely intrigued to see what the company has in store for us in the future... Could this be a segway into creating a perpetual calander? Minute Repeater (most likely not)? Only one can dream and ponder

I aquired both the WG and RG versions....

At the end of the day reference 326135 was the one that made me scream and say... THIS IS IT!

My local time has been set to NY and reference time to Cairo, Egypt

I am inclined to say that as more folks see the piece in person they too will enjoy what Rolex has done in taking steps to enter the realm of Patek and Vacheron.

Absolutely beautiful time pieces. I lean toward the RG version but love the WG too. Wow!

The WG model appeals to me the most. I like the RG model, but IMHO, it needs a RG bracelet. Never been a fan of leather or nylon straps. Congratulation on the purchase and wear it in good health in 2013.

I had this concern as well. However, I have to say after wearing the watch for about 2 months, I love the leather strap. The RG Rolex clasp adds to the quality and appearence of the strap as well. Finally, since all my other watches are on bracelets, it's kind of nice to have one on a strap - variety is the spice of life - and annual calendars just seem right on leather. Happy New Year!

;-) Stunning pics above Joel and I share your sentiments! Seen all three and purchased 2 (WG & RG, sold the WG to a fellow collector), for me the RG just screamed!

Thanks Kevin... I am sure EB and Joel echo my sentiments with your well wishes!

I am not sure what the heck is going on, however, this is the first time in a long time I have repeatedly worn any timepiece! Since acquiring my 326935 I have not been able to strap on any other Rolex, Patek, Audemar, JLC piece in my humble collection... Anyway here are today's pics and I anticipate more members joining or at least getting a chance to test run any of the three Sky Dwellers soon!

One gent stated that the Rose Gold version reminds him of the song Chocolate rain!

Well I would not say the RG version is the clear favorite as there are 5 other owners besides Joel, EB, and I that comb TRF that have not posted their WG and YG Sky's on this thread but then again their post count hovers around 10-15 posts

Ok ok. You were right Sam. The SkyDweller is pretty nice in the metal. This sort of convinced me.

Regardless of price, I can only hope folks would give the Sky-D a fair shake once they get a chance to try it on for size! It is a very good first attempt from Rolex in the complication side of things! Well done and a great alternative to expensive Patek and Vacheron annual calendars!

Thanks for sharing your pic with us Mike!
