Sounds a bit like AD talk when they don't have a date and don't want to overpromise anything. At least in my experience

I agree. My AD is kicking the can down the road as well. I keep getting a very polite brush off.

MY AD called me Thurs said he was only getting TWO allocations.

Both going to his Uber Patek clients. He did submit my name if they get a third allocation, it's mine.

Oh well...

Lol I was trolling. Figured it wasn't worth drawing one in crayon. I still haven't heard anything despite bothering my AD an unusual number of times and also emailing HSWA. I couldn't make NY as I just started a new job.

When will dealers see the 5522A?

Agree 100% but that would be encroaching on the 5524 a step too far imho. At the price I can deal with the simplicity.

It's a steel limited edition 42mm calatrava with a blue dial...Enough said lol

Still have doubts my small AD will pull through. Tic toc tic toc

Love is the operating word here. Small seconds means 5524, otherwise they would be too similar for me.

The seconds hand is the same as the 5524 and is one of the things I like about it.

If they had embossed "New York exhibition 2017" on the front would have been
Perfect and sorted the gap out

Simply "New York" maybe... and I'm biased as a resident. As far as I'm concerned less is more with regards to text on the dial of any watch.

I must be in the minority but I see no issue either the empty lower hemisphere of the dial.
