Dillema Solved!!
Today, I went to a local AD in Alberta, can't decide between green 16610LV and New Explorer I. I asked to put it on hold, since this is the last one they have.
Now I decided to go green. I am glad to read this thread. |

a Poll between the 16610 (black) and 16610 LV (green)
Poll made by the member 'JPS' imo an amazing result, I did not expect that almost 70% of the members would choose the 16610LV above the 16610 Here are the results : http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=163879 |

Is the original earlier model that had the "4" on bezel insert with flat top and the later models have "4" with pointy top on bezel insert?
Question aside, on the dial the word "Submariner"', any of the models ever come with a "FLAT" S if you know what I mean? |

getting good at it decided not to bother with the marks, the kind of remind me of Christmas 2010 which was a good one! PS for some reason the LN make the blemishes go away! they sort of blend in with the insert! the LV made them stand out like sore thumbs

And when I purchased mine, I thought whats wrong with me, I have my twenty year old trusted 16610, why not just buy the insert. I then remembered i am an addict, and i cant help myself.
Hands down, my favorite watch; although my recently acquired meters first 1680 is a close second, LV rocks, its a looker.
