Hi Guys

my first post as a Daytona owner i have been waiting on a list in the UK for ever with no luck. In between i have bought 10 other watches including 3 other Rolexes
Last week i was in Chicago with my Wife Carol celebrating 40 years together when she suggested on our anniversary we visit a Rolex Boutique just a couple of blocks from our Hotel, that she had located on line that morning, so eager as ever to visit a Rolex dealer off we trotted.
I looked around at all that was on show and was approached by a salesperson who asked is there a watch he could show me, i said jokingly a white faced SS Daytona.
To my amazement he said he would check out back as he thought they might have just got one in.
Can you imagine my surprise when 5 minutes later he arrives with the little beauty in his hand, i was visibly shaken as i was led into the plush room to try it out and god bless Carol who said if you want it get it and without delay i said yes. It had arrived 2 days before how lucky is that.
Sorry to bore you all with this tale of good luck but you read so many tales of people waiting it just goes to show if you never give up and keep on trying the Rolex fairy may bring you a nice shiney toy if you are a good boy or girl.
I will now have to figure out how to post a photo and join the Team Daytona officially.

That's exactly how I got mine. I jokingly asked and the salesguy pulled out out from his safe in the back. Awesome.
