It's platinum. The metal didn't go anywhere. I call it the mark of love

Sorry for your loss. May you wear all your watches in memory of that cutie.

"not only would i leave it for now , when it comes time for service you may not want those marks gone ! not sure how old your dog is but if i had an opportunity to be reminded of my best friend every time i looked down at my wrist i would be very happy about that . actually gives me a good idea , i'm going to go let my dogs chew on my watches ! thanx for the idea ! :)"....not sure if I did the quote properly. Best thing I've read in a while

Sometimes it's best to read a thread through before replying; the OP is missing his recently deceased pup.

OP you would pass out if you saw my Exp 1 or Exp 2.

Both have been used as intended and live hard lives. Skiing, shooting, in the ocean, ect. Wear my Exp 1 every day to work and it gets all banged up.

I consider it patina. I don't trust watches or people without scars.

When my children inherit them one day they will know they were worn!

Generalization of course but I just think that if you have to save and it’s a splurge to buy a Rolex , that person might baby it a bit more than someone who has several and can buy another any time they want. The guy posting paint overspray on his Rolex? Really don’t get it. Two camps.

Oh no, that’s so cute. I would not touch the watch. Keep that mark as a souvenir of that beautiful Soul.

One of My dogs scratched my YM bezel and bit into my Batman, I feel you. Had the Batman polished though, the dink on the case annoyed me :)

Absolutely amazing how many people don’t read the thread and just blurt out comments without knowing the events
Ridiculous…especially in this case. Read folks….
The OP no longer owns the watch, wishes he did, and his friend has passed.

OP…..sorry for your loss, losing family pets is difficult :(

Totally agree with you, hope a moderator can close this one soon to avoid further comments which am sure are affecting the OP which is mourning his deceased dog.
