Yes I very much prefer the blue of the 5811 as compared to the 5711. I wish I brought along my 5740 so that I can see the difference between them too.

Awesome thanks for sharing! It's nothing groundbreaking but I don't think there's anything wrong with giving people what they want and looking out for your bottom line. Going to be another stellar year for Patek.

There is neither 5204, 5373 nor rainbow Aquanaut in store. If I can only choose 1 out of this group of new releases, it will be the 5811. The AD said the 5712 is more popular though but I like the 5811 more.

Thanks for posting these, and bothering to switch sides on your wrist, too. It’s reassuring to see that the colors line up with the official imagery. You could almost call the 5811 “Wisma Atria blue,” lol.

I’m glad that the color shift is more than a tiny change different.

It's funny I also think the same way. The green duo of 5204 and 5270 appeal to me like never before, and the lovely salmon colour have been used more on dials. The 5230P is epic too and I hope to add that. Not to forget the new 5470 with the 1/10 chronograph. What a 2022 for Patek.

I switched sides to provide a more balanced view of dial colours and sizing. It's unfortunate there is a thin plastic cover on the 5811 though.

Looks like they are actual real watches as they re stickers up. Stock must already be onshore and in transit.

Great shots, thanks for sharing. The 5711 looks more like a greyish blue and the 5811 is like a brilliant blue. I would also choose 5811 over the 5712 in rose gold.

Green is new blue since past year. I hope Patek doesn't do much green like salmon. Salmon color used to be a special color and rare.

5470p is WOW. I prefer it over 5373p and harder to acquire over 5373p. My AD can get me 5373p but no clue for 5470p at this time

If I had the funds lefty monopusher grand comp but I agree with you that the 5811 is a beauty and more wearable than a full gold watch - felt uncomfortable with my RG DD40 and never wore it
I always liked the 5990A so I’d heavily consider that one also

5712/1A's clasp has been updated to the new one (same as 5811).
I also thought it would discontinued in a couple of months but this update probably suggests it won't be.

And no it's not a collection wide update as the blue 5726 steel is still coming with the old clasp.

4-5x MSRP immediate flips are 'reasonable'? That's so extreme for any type of good.

Honestly though my opinion was more in regard to the fact that these were allocated to somebody who had 100% flipping intentions from the get go. There's no change of mind, etc, it was purely a financial decision, whether from VIP status or in cahoots with the AD.

Hmmm I don't think so they have the watch. Just stock photos what I see. I see 2 posting, one is US and another in UAE. Stock photos.
