Dave, Thanx for the response. I love mine but am still getting use to the weight of it. It is definitely heavy and weighs down my pocket!!!
Have a great day.....

Latest acquisition - MB 75th Anniversary LE 149 F nib. Same to the standard 149 except the extra stone on the cap, and a 75th anniversary nib.
BTW, heard that MB has discontinued the British Racing Green ink. If you like this ink (I do), go stock it up. Currently this 149 has MB violet filled.

Incredible pen! And that ink looks nice as well; I think I'll try that one when I get my first FP.

Must be a dream to write with?

To those who write in cursive; have you allways written like that or have you learned throughout the years? In Sweden, the cursive style is almost only used by elderly people.

I was taught in grade school back in the 60s and today I use a hybrid of cursive and printing together!!!

Yes, in third grade.

When my son was in first grade I taught him to write in cursive. He was ready so I figured Why not?
One day he did his entire homework assignment in cursive. The teacher's response? "Please print."

I have a Vintage Montblanc rollerball which is I guess a retro. I keep it in my briefcase so I don't lose it. Otherwise, I use my MacBook Air for everything. I have owned several MB pens either ballpoint, vintage fountain, generations, and the grail I have never owned is the Agatha Christie

Unbelievable. Not a spec of grace in education today.

Funnily enough I was "given" a Montblanc pen when I bought my Yachtmaster. Five years ago I went into my local AD to get a pen for my girlfriend who had just finished her Masters degree at university. The manager knew I liked Rolexes and came up to deal with me personally. Whilst I was looking at pens he said that they had a YM in and if I bought it he'd give me any pen free of charge. I bought the YM and ended up with a £500 Montblanc for the gf.

Unfortunately the pen and the girlfriend are a distant memory. Gee, that was a nice pen though.

Are you referring to that little stump that once was a Bic (take note of the spelling, you git) pen? That pen? As you were, private!

Currently using MB Violet. I like the saturation.
Also, MB racing green and emerald green are filled. Sadly it looks like racing green has been discontinued.

I've seen some green and violet (purple?) writing samples, and I have to say that those two are my favorite ink colors.
