I have a Sub date, 36mm Explorer and a Yacht Master.....maybe because I bought them 20+ yrs ago (between 1998 and 2003) when they were relatively inexpensive and i was young that I don't feel the need to baby them. I rotate and wear them daily, they go on in the morning and come off at night regardless of what I am doing. When I was young I was self employed and would valet cars in them. I was attracted to the brand because they were hardy, durable and could be polished if need be. I found the receipts the other day...the Explorer was £1650, the Sub £2300 and the Yacht Master £3250. They are all naturally scratched but remarkably unscathed. I've always cleaned them weekly and had them seviced but none have been poilshed as yet. In my mind they are still all only worth that price, its no big deal and they aren't going anywhere till I shuffle off. So good to see people wearing them daily for the purpose they were built for...to tell the time! Enjoy your watches guys, time is only now.
