John your GMT is stunning. This will cause a little drooling in the Omega forum at WUS.

Here are a couple of pics of my 1675 GMT. I bought it new in Liverpool in August 1967 and it has been my daily watch ever since - 47 years! It has only been off my wrist when away for servicing and these days I don't wear when out on my bike or doing any particularly rough jobs around the house/garden. I do have a 'spare' watch - a Seiko - but I rarely wear it.

Nice one, Stan.
Is that the original bracelet? Do you remember why you chose the Jubilee over the Oyster bracelet? |

Quote:
No, the original bracelet was the 'standard' GMT Oyster expandable type. I bought the Jubilee bracelet in 1969 when two of the links of the original failed - I preferred the look of the Jubilee and it was also non-expandable, which I also preferred. I still think the Jubilee looks better than the Oyster but that, of course, is just a matter of personal opinion. I still have the original Oyster bracelet (complete with failed links) tucked away with the watch documentation. Regards, Stan. |

Vintage GMT Pepsi
Hi, I need help. Recently I came across a GMT Pepsi and I am not sure if I should buy it or not. I love older watches, but I don’t know if this is to beaten up. It is in working condition. I am not sure about the year, will only find out in a few days. Any advice please!?

OK, will post another after its visit to RNY. Worn nearly every day for 32 years and 9 months. Approximately 1 million air miles. And, yes, I know, it looks it! :) |

I have owned the 16750 since Feb 2014.
I got the 1675 yesterday ! They get their weekly rotation days. Why did I get them? http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...d+save+my+life |

I recently traded my Hulk Sub for this bad boy!
Once I found out that the new Pepsi was going to be WG only, I knew I had to make the call and finally pick up a Pepsi. This guy is totally mint and loving every minute of it! |
