hey smart ass
nothing wrong with posting a good and usefull link
but if this makes you think there are plenty of them ...
The 116520 is said to be a sought after and difficult to get watch
Well if you do a search on the site you linked you'll notice that there are twice as much SS Daytona's available as there are 16610 LV 's

178 times the LV and 317 times the SS Daytona... and more tha 400 older 16520 daytona's

So yes, once again ... a 16610LV is rare ( rare for Rolex ofcourse)

I called a few AD's and asked them if they could tell me how many green subs the received per year and how many SS daytona's they receive

The AD that gave me an answer ,ALL of them told me the Lv was definitely more rare

of course it can - it is the "original" LV afterall.
the 16610LV is the classic green Sub, the 116610LV is the new kid on the block.
i love them both.

Does anyone have a 16610V instead of the 16610LV? Is there an actual difference? Is one worth more than the other? I'm on the market for an LV and the one that has been presented to me is a V not LV. Thanks!!

Since the "V" is just a color code (Lunette Verde compared to LN for Lunette Noir) I believe there is no difference.

Hope to become a future member of the Sub LV club. Regretted that I actually came close to getting one back in 2009 but went for another brand. The Sub C was a good replacement but somehow I still long to get an LV in the near future. Green is the color of my alma mater La Salle.

A Question on future appreciation. I am looking at the 16610V M series. For those that love this watch. Can you tell me if i had to invest which year is most likely to appreciate the fastest? The first year of the anniversary edition or the last? What year is the M series made? I have been told by some 2007, but i have seen some reports M series is even in 2010. Can you help me with the differences in the 16610V vs the 16610LV. Also, can someone try and sell me a black submariner, change the bezel to green and try and charge me more? Please help a new hopeful owner with information that can help me buy the best watch. I really like the black with green bezel the most.

Should have my new random serial LV for tomorrow via Special Delivery hopefully!! I have owned both of the LV's and there is a certain pull to the original model for some reason although the new model is technically better!

Gotta love them both really - will post pics early next week!

If you don't mind me asking where exactly have you had it modified? Looks like a factory supplied LV?

Y serial I believe is the one to have if you are looking for something that might prove to be collectable.

The following letters relating to years from 2005 are I believe:-

F - 2005
D - 2006
Z - 2007
M - 2008
V - 2009/2010
Random - 2010/2011 and onwards

I am assuming the ammended watch above is a white gold crown then?

I can't see any differences from stock at all?
