Tell us how your last shift goes my friend.
You will have to come all the way to this little boring village in the Dutch countryside, I'm not sure you want that
It's a good restaurant, and I think I will enjoy working there.

Well I love villages and would love to travel all around the world but meanwhile I'll assume it's nice and take your word and pictures for it.

Hi Kaya…that puppy is SO cute. I don't know why, she looks like a she. LOL And don't tell me why I think I can see a little barrette in her head. She looks delicate. Enjoy her love and her antics. Keep shoes in your closet. ;-)
Ha, thanks Judy!

Tis the season Judy (More people have heart attacks and CHF episodes during cold weather). CCU is a rough place, I was thinking you were an ER nurse . I did that for a while, makes most of us pretty cynical after a few years. I have been an NP for the last 15 years. Hang in there. Nice to meet you!!!

Carl, very nice!!

The taco place... Iguana Lounge? We do like going there. I think they make the best salsa in town. We got cupcakes at SaraSara, too. Had burgers at S & B's Burger Joint. As if there wasn't enough to eat the day before.
Yes, Iguana Lounge! I was amazed at the sheer number of salsas on the menu...and the one I had was very good! I like that area a lot. There are a few shops there around automobile alley that I like to visit. There is a fairly new one...the name escapes me...but I went in the other day and the owner gave me a pamphlet advertising their rooftop which is now available to rent for events. Interesting.

That almost had to have been Plenty Mercantile. We love them. A pic of my Ford Falcon parked in front of the shop is somewhere on their Facebook page. My husband knows the owners - the husband/dad is a surgeon, and his wife and daughters run the place with a business partner. Was the old red pickup inside when you were there? It was out a while being worked on but now it's parked inside the front doors.

Yes, that area is very interesting these days. I think it's referred to as "Automobile Alley" because that's where lots of the old car dealerships were. The Plenty building used to be a dealership, too. And there's a restaurant not far from there called Packard's... which is housed in the old, well, you know.

Hey, 'shop people.

I visited two of our ADs today (there are three in town - all different branches of the same jewelry store). Kind of polled them about when/where Tudor might be setting up shop. Information wasn't real clear, but it sounds like by the end of next year Tudor will have a presence in OKC. That's farther off than I had hoped, but still good enough news.

Why was I there, you ask? Ordered a Christmas present for myself... this, except in white gold. It's an affordable option for an emerald ring:

Wow a whole year before an AD in OKC might get Tudor, that's sounds a long time considering it sounds like they have popped up in lots of places in the US. A long time to wait if you want the watch. Would/could you get it out of state or from a seller here. Sounds like you are quite loyal to your AD.

Very nice ring, bet it will look super on you, Lisa.

A year is indeed rather long but I guess if you don't have any purchased planned yet it doesn't matter, it only gives you more time to admire Tudor's fine watches.

And I agree, that ring looks fabulous, I trust it will fit you well!

Speaking of which, I ordered a ring myself two days ago. It was something I was looking for for a very long time and I finally decided to go for it. I also ordered two bands, one for my AP and another one for a project...

Carl, what does your ring look like?!!! Details, man.

Yes, I've heard different things from both ADs about Tudor. Sometimes I wonder if the branches are a bit competitive with one another, because it almost sounded like both locations are vying for Tudor and only one of them will get it (I'm loyal to one location because I really like the sales staff there, and they have a top-notch watchmaker). I hope that my favorite location gets Tudor... it was pretty clear that Tudor would not be a stand-alone shop; it would only be sold where Rolex is sold.

I'll tell you about it later on. It's half way done and I'm sure I could talk about it but I'm still wondering if I should spill the beans now or wait until everything works.

Hi Kaya, pleasure to meet you too. :-) I don't mind bedside nursing..some days its great, some days its not…like anything else. I think Im coming to a point I need a new focus. Ive been interested in going to recovery room for a while now. I just need to start looking for new postings. Ideally I should stay at the same hospital Im in now. Im getting to that funky age where if I stay I can retire early, if I leave and go somewhere new, I will retire later.

Lisa the ring is beautiful. And of course, I can't wait to see it on your finger. :-) Are you into gemstone jewellery?

Carl…you are certainly being sly about these projects of yours. LOL I await the news when you're ready to start singing like a canary. ;-)
