John i'm not mad at this guy after all it's just a forum , but i'm not walking around denying nothing either, this guy has called me decitful and a liar in less than five minutes now if he's so scholastically sophisticated maybe he should have did his homework before he decided to post.

Yo, homeboy, I've been playing devils advocate but seriously. I'm amusing you by following your flow of stories. But, my brotha, you need to write a if you were a lawyer. You have more grammatical than an 8th grader.

My cousin as well as my wife's close friend are lawyers and they obviously write extremely well. You misspell words and use double negatives very loosely.

No camera, no cellphone with camera, not even one of the friends that come over to drink with you over the holidays have cameras?

I think I can explain all of this.......

SEAN IS ON VACATIONS AND THIS MUST BE HIS KID OR NEPHEW!!!!!

It's the only thing that could make sense.

Before this thread gets locked, figured I'd put my .02 cents in.
If I was the owner of said $1,000,000+ watch, then posting pictures here would be one of the FIRST things I'd do. But, then again, that's just me, and others might not have the same opinions on thier new watches. However, I also must call (BS) on this as well. If you started a topic on a very lovely, and (one of the most expensive watches out there) surely you must of thought that we'd like to see pictures of the watch. Not proof that you own it (well, OK, maybe a little lol) but just to show it off in general. If I just bought a 1 Million Dollar house, I'd post some pictures of it in the general discussion fourm, I'll tell you that :)
Either way, I must say I am very disappointed at the direction this board is heading. I've been a member here for almost 2 years, and have never seen the board come to "this new low".
As for this mystical watch, I agree with the others, and will leave it at that.

Mike, I am the one for the bad jokes, even if I am staying out of the name calling, I agree I have been apart of this thread and it has gotten out of hand and the Mod should step in and lock it the point has been made and we will move on. Thanks for the heads up.

AAHHHHHHH, the magical fifteen minutes are over

I know that blood coming out the ears is quite painful.

Just needed some comic relief, sorry to goad Chilvary past the "magic" point.

Shut down, reset

I guess we should all take a break, and Sean, I suggest you change your "watch" on your avatar before Stevo shows up, he has banned people for that that in the past.

Good night everyone, it was fun... See you tomorrow

What'd I miss ??

I was out polishing the ol' Phantom V. The psychedelic paint needs a lot of maintenance. Used to be owned by some British singer, whose name i forget.

It being dark here, I can't get a good photo, but here's one from last summer with my driver:

I think I can summarise this whole bizarre situation......

First off, it would take a very, very wealthy man to even bid for such an expensive watch.

I mean real, real filthy rich........and I'm talking maybe someone like Bill Gates or the Sultan of Brunei or the King of Saudi Arabia or the Emir of UAE or maybe even some one like Donald Trump or Kerry Packer.

Of course, there are several billionaires around the world capable of picking up such a watch. With such people, it's NOT about the money (1.3 million bucks it's loose change in their back pockets) - it's more about the prestige of owning one and more about ONE UPMANSHIP in out-bidding the competition to have top dibs on it.

So let us say such a watch was available and only 2 were ever made, I don't see how a common layman could get even anywhere close to such a rare watch.

This whole thing has taken on such a weird and bizarre state of affairs, that it ceased to be funny a long time ago.

Sorry for the rant, but we are talking about a very huge amount of dollars coupled with rarity and availability of an extremely unique time-piece.

JJ

Yes, loved it, but wouldn't be seen dead in that monstrosity. Can I bid on it for my sheep though?

Well Deserted,
You have said you don't have a camera, but you managed to post a picture of your daytona on the 3rd of December, unless this is also a stock photo, you must of used a camera of some sorts.
Here is the thread.
