This is the one I've got. I've seen it called the Stormtrooper online but to me it looks like the Millenium Falcon, which can only be a good thing IMO

These are the watches many Navy Seals really wear, not the Luminox

Not for nothing, these watches, whichever iteration you prefer, cannot be beat. They are inexpensive, tough, reliable, lightweight, feature packed and, perhaps as a sum of the foregoing, FUN. I use my old G2300 for everything that is likely to harm a watch; I strap it to my backpack when I travel. It barely shows any of the abuse it's seen. There is no doubt my "W" 16710 stil looks as good as it does because of the beatings and abuses my G-Shocks have taken over the years. I know, I know the rolex watches are made to take and all that but I just prefer to wear a G-Shock when dings and dents are all but assured. I have a Black Titanium Triple Sensor that I can wear anywear and not worry about - don't even know i have it on most of the time, despite its size. bought my son who just turned 13 a G-Shock hunting watch for his birthday - had to get one for myself as well, just had to. G-Shocks, one of the very few products in its price range (of any type) that provides the intended performance and anticipated value. |

Guys can you help me out please?
![]() My son's comandeered my gym watch so he/I need another G-Shock that's..... 45mm or bigger. 'Wave ceptor?'/5 or 6 band? "Auto-accurate-time set thing"?! Solar-powered. Round rather than square. Preferably (although not essentially) with a two-pin buckle/rubber strap. (rather than a 'single-pin buckle' or metal bracelet) & probably 'original style' rather than the newer 'premium ones' with hands. Any ideas which fits the bill best please? Thanks in advance guys........ ![]() ![]() ![]()

If you wan to trend the weather with a baro, I'd choose the Riseman solar/atomic. Has the double buckle and the strap is very comphy.

My Dad gave me his G-shock when we went away to Alton towers, Its quickly replaced my slightly battle damaged Lorus as my favorite watch. They are extremely durable and being a student, I love its versatility.

- big metal buttons - it can show 3 different timezone at once - the lume is not too bad, and it has a LED for night time viewing - comfortable on the wrist - not a lot of G-Shock has a grey metal bezel - looks awesome with the orange-ish LCD and then the rest of the G-shock stuff (atomic solar, tough as nail with analog hands, current time shown all the times, world time, alarms x 5, STW, CDT, ... VDC, LSD, VTECH, double high power lazer, direct satellite links, invisble shield, and a toaster ... :p) |

I found it at overstock.com and ordered it yesterday. I'm kind of excited to try a G-shock. My last Casio was a databank in the early 90's. I wore out that watch. Always thought it was ahead of it's time - no pun intended.

Probably going to pick one up this weekend. As a student, and a future Physical Education teacher these watches seem to be the most practical. They also seem to be undoubtedly better then Nike Sport watches.

Not quite a G-Shock, but WR200M nonetheless, with lots of feature, big and tough :-)
