I don't own either (unfortunately) & should I be lucky enough to acquire one I honestly don't think I could pick between them.

Putting re-sale/invest/hype etc to one side the obvious upside is that green sunburst dial is unique and not available on any other sports model. If you are building a collection it makes sense to take the green for variety when there are so many black dial sports watches. However it can be a little polarizing.

On the other hand, if your a 1-2 watch type of guy I couldn't see any reason to not go for the more iconic SubC.

Hope I'm making sense.

The reason for the Q is this; I may soon (within 3-6mths) be offered both and I just can't make my mind up which would be better. If I knew 100% I wouldn't buy another sports watch in the future i'd get the LN all day. However, if I am lucky enough to grow my collection in the future I know i'll regret not going for the LV as so many of the other sports model have limited dial options and are mainly black.

Did anyone else have this thought process or just me haha.

Thank you in advance.
I actually went through this same thought before I got my LV. I ultimately decided to go LV because you just don't see much of them in the wild. You'll probably run into 100 LNs before 1 LV. Also black is boring, the green pops, and in the right lighting situations looks almost black. So you get the best of both worlds. So just ask yourself, do you like green? If so I would say get an LV. So many black dial watches green stands out.

Everyone who got one at or close to MSRP should pat themselves on the back for getting in when the getting in was good.

I hate this thread as being a non VIP at my local AD, the waitlist is like 1 year to eternity and I will not sell my kidneys to go grey market either.

I’ve had both now, I prefer the new one, fits better and a bit easier to match up with clothes. Better bracelet etc. Love hulk though

That’s a shame since that’s my least favorite part (in the direct sunlight) of the Hulk.

Does anyone know if the green dial hue remains the same through out the years on MK1, MK2 and MK3?

Just over three months since Bob posted this, and the prices have gone even more crazy.

Pleased to say, mine was at MRSP.
