If the drawing is set, which I think it is, someone should post a new thread in AfterDark to let people know a date is on the calendar. I don't think many people who entered are aware that the drawing may take place this weekend. Just a suggestion. And again, Seth, thanks for trying to get this done at your GTG. Hope you have a great time!

OK. I will post that tonight when I get home.

Sounds like we met the criteria.

I think we are good to go.

Just throwing it out there - would it be possible to do a live webcast (YouTube Live) of the drawing? Joining in the excitement remotely would be pretty cool

We will of course record the drawing separately of the live feed and send it over to the TRF Brass, or if they want I can host it on my IG or youtube indefinitely, but we can cross that bridge when we get there.

but for now, yes, look out on my IG Saturday evening. I think we're still figuring out the exact time.

Just for clarity, what are the qualifications for participating in the drawing?
And the logistics for the drawing and the GTG, separate locations? Times?
Thanks,

OK.

So I am thinking we will meet in Mortons at 5:30. It is pretty early so we should be able to get a high top by the bar. If that is packed, we will likely just meet up there and walk out into the mall and find a nice comfy bench.

I do want to be clear with everyone on this, as a few people have asked why we are not doing it at the GTG.

Omega is pulling out all the stops for this event. The people in the store are super pumped for it and they are AWESOME people. I greatly care about the manager and a few of their long-term employees that I have gotten to know over the years.

I am happy to do this drawing and help out the TRF community. But I want to do everything possible to ensure we are not taking anything away from the Omega event.

I cannot stress that enough.

This is why I don't want to do it at the GTG, which of course is in the Omega Boutique.

They are really putting a lot of effort into this. They have an expert coming in to give us a demonstration on magnetism and to answer all of our questions.

They are fully catering this event from a fantastic restaurant.

They have a surprise gift for the first 40 attendees to arrive.

And they are just good people. I want this event to go great for the good folk of TRF, but also for the Omega team.

Thanks everyone for understanding.

If anyone can make it early for the drawing. Please respond here. I know I missed some people, but keeping track of all of this has been hectic.

So far we have:

Scarlet Knight (and wife Bev)
Chadriv
Superdog (thats me)
Krystal (my wife)
Syed117
Fotovis

We have at least two long term members that are not in the drawing, so we are good. But the more we have the better.

Please do let me know if you can make it, so that I can expect you.

Thank you,

I will do a round 3 in the fall, for sure.

I am starting to really have fun with all of this.

More than just appropriate, Seth, shows courtesy and respect. I have an AD that has treated me great over the years, on watches and other items as well, it goes both ways.

I won’t make it to the drawing, but my friend and I will be at the Boutique with bells on (and my PO) ! Looking forward to it.

So what's the dress code for this thing? I'm guessing I can show up in chinos and a polo?

Also thinking of bringing two vintage Omegas, but I'm already questioning wearing one on each wrist. Not a great look...
