5212 the good: SS for everyday use and useful complicstion in Scandinavia
The bad: the feeling of looking at a really poor redial |

The 5212A could be neat. Have to see it for yourself. I agree its a shame the new release PPs are coming out in larger sizes. Especially the 5172 and 5212. I have read the trend is now reversing to smaller sizes seems like Patek would want to lead the move since most of their movements are sized well below the case sizes. Currently, design is done in-house by family and it may have always been that way. They have had great success. But, I also see the success they had with Gerald Genta's designs and wonder if they should reach out to outside talent for input on designs in the future. All companies do or should do that. There have been a lot of disappointments in the comments here.

My 5320G at 40mm is a tad big for my 6.5 inch wrist so I tend to like 39mm and smaller. But still a great watch. |

Must've been something in the water in Geneva over the past year and both PP and Rolex caught it based on what they threw up at Basel this week.

Told my AD on Saturday to write me up. If they do it by consecutive numbered request then I'd be the first one. I doubt that will happen and some non-WIS who's just a big paying and long term customer who's getting the news today will be writing/calling their AD.

Yeah I don't get it. Now that it's blue, more people will surely want it. But I have never liked the AC on it and the date placement looks off to me. To me, AC needs to be a dress watch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I could see this being a dress watch. The thickness is about right. The colour fits. Material is alright too. Only watches I can't see pop as a dress watch for the nautilus line-up is 5990 and the 5980 - Too thick.
