Hard to say..

It sounds like the mainspring may have broken.............. something that no Dealer or watchmaker could ever predict.........

Welcome! If you are close to a Rolex Service Center (RSC), it may make more sense to bypass the AD and have the work done there.

Was it sent to Bexley or was it done in house at the AD? How long has it been since the service?

If it's a 2 year old watch, I'd just send it straight to an RSC for warranty work.

Thanks for advice
It had a service by a independent dealer 2 months ago
Watch is 3 years old so warranty

Although at just over 2 years old it took to ad with condensation inside it was away for 8 weeks and came back not clean and still attracted condensation
So the ad has left a bitter taste with me

Any how I took it to my independent and he said it was still under his warranty and would see to it free

But my wife (fed up at this point) saw and had to have a white face explorer 2
That was in the window 2 years old

So after a bit of a deal we walked out with a new explorer for the wife and a bit of money my way

Not noticed the explorer much but got to say I'm growing to love it

Any how thanks for your help guys
