Will
Rolex ever make a DJII with a Jubilee bracelet?
I guess I am wondering why they only offer an oyster with the DJII when the Jubliee has always been synonymous with the DJ. Thanks kind friends.

I looked to see if I could find any of those for sale, but the only ones I found were the kind of Rolex no one here would be interested in.

Oh i hope so. It makes sense to offer it as an option - Basel 2011 fingers crossed.

I definitely think it was a strange design choice to offer only the fluted bezel with the oyster bracelet on the DJII. I would love to see the super jubilee make its way to the DJII and I would also like to see a domed bezel/oyster bracelet option.

i can sort of see why Rolex only offered the solid Oyster bracelet for the DJII...
maybe by now they have engineered a "stronger" 21mm Super Jubilee for the DJII range... bring it on Basel 2011 |

the DJ2 would be an absolute smash if it had the jubilee

That's exactly what I'm waiting for. Hope they introduce it at Baselworld.

I think they worry if the jubillee will get stretched if placed on a DJII. The head of the DJII is much larger and heavier, and therefore, the bracelet will hold more weight and probably stretch faster and easier.

Rolex used the classic jubilee w/ hollow center links on 40mm GMT's for decades so I doubt the fear of stretch was a consideration with the super jubilee on the DJ II. Solid links don't/ can't stretch. They can, over a long period of time without proper cleaning maintenance, show wear on the pins. But a very insignificant issue on the super jubilee.
