Incoming Speedy

I picked this one up yesterday from my AD. I knew my next Omega was going to be a Speedmaster, but I was very undecided which one it was going to be. My AD had just gotten this one in that morning and had not even put it in the case yet. After wearing this one for a few minutes in the store, I decided this was the right one.

It looks great. Congratulations. You can't go wrong with a Speedmaster.

Nice! I've been researching a lot of Speedmasters lately (online) and the variety is borderline ridiculous. There are way too many choices. Glad you found one that sang to you!

There is lots of choice. Professional and Hesalite is the only option though IMHO.

agree on the professional line, gotta go manual on a speedy. the hesalite i dont agree with. ive had a hesalite version and tired of constant polishing the crystal as it scratched way too easy and a its a lot of money to spend on a watch with a plastic crystal IMO. got the sapphire version and not a single issue, plus its a beautiful movement and deserves that display caseback.

i currently have no plans for space travel so not being flight cert shouldnt be an issue, ha!

Congrats. I love my Speedy Pro and you will love yours. It is probably the one watch I would not sell.

Thank you everyone for the complements. This one has been getting a lot of wrist time so far. I got the opportunity to compare it to its 50 year old twin brother yesterday....
