Indeed.

Honestly, I never warmed up to the 12-01. It's not on my list. Not at all interested, despite wanting to be interested. :(

That's cool. I quite like it more than the previous Airbus.

That said, for some reason, the association with Airbus makes it less appealing to me. But the alarm functionality offsets that. I really like the Patek 5520P-001 for the same reason -- I don't know why, but I dig the alarm complication (just not all watches with alarm complications).

LE of 30 pieces. Not bad. Probably still attainable for someone who doesn't have 5+ other tourbillons already.

Not in stock (unless it was when you posted this).

Any Joma watches that say anything other than "In Stock" aren't in stock. They quote durations they think it'll take them to secure one for you in the market.

I dig the vibrating alarm concept.

More useful to me when it's on my wrist, though obviously less useful when it's on my table / nightstand.

That said, I don't use wristwatch alarms anymore to "wake me up." My cell phone has that duty now.

So, a gentle reminder on my wrist that a certain time has arrived is much more useful than an alarm I might not hear (because I'm in a loud area, flying in a plane, driving a loud car fast, etc).

Ah, interesting!

So wait, is RM Boston not corporate-owned?

When it comes to other brand-specific boutiques, such as Panerai, the corporate-owned ones tend to get all the good stuff, then the non-corporate owned, and then the multi-brand ADs get the scraps.

Is that the same for RM?

"Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ) and Richard Mille have launched a new travel watch, inspired by and adapted to exclusive journeys on an Airbus corporate jet."

I love corporate-marketing bullshit speak.

I'm sure this is a dumb question and feel free to lay into me, but I'm totally new to RM so I have no clue what the deal/game is with these other than that certain models are tough to get: do I have a chance of getting an RM67-02 from an AD/boutique as a new client or will I have to suck it up and pay the premium from a reseller? Thanks!

Sadly Zero chance at the moment.
Same with 11-03 etc.. you’ll have to build history and most likely buy a 67-01 maybe an RM for your significant other.

Some places require you to buy 1 to 3 relationship building watches before you get something good

Correct. No difference from Patek, Rolex, etc., and their popular sport watches.

I’d say way worse than Patek, nowhere near as Rolex. From my personal experience of course plus production is 4k watches vs 55k vs 1M

I am still debating going grey and buying an RM 11-03 for my next piece. However also considering a Patek 5270.. either. the white gold silver (not white dial) or the salmon Plat version.. I know the Patek is not a sports watch and before anyone says -- not the same an appropriate comparison--- it represents two watches I like.

Do you have a time table for this? It feels like if you have time the market on either one of these references will come to you.

The only problem with going grey is that your spend is not going towards building a relationship that could yield other watches.

My assumption is it's Westime, as I know they control distribution in the US for Richard Mille. So most likely their Beverly Hills or Las Vegas store.

Aspen is the only other boutique in then US in which Richard Mille is partnered with an individual.

Westime controls RM US
