eBay seller "watch-parts-for-u"

Hi all,

Has anyone dealt with eBay seller "watch-parts-for-u". I recently bought a buckle from this seller and discovered on the back of the buckle it says "RCLEX" on the back under a loupe. The seller is claiming that they don't know anything about it and will ask the supplier for info.

Anyway long story short, I have asked for my refund after sending the buckle back to them of which they demanded me to give them a positive feedback first before I can get my money. I started questioning his position and he wrote:

"I have only received high praise for my items and have quite a few jewellery shops who have took big orders and watch makers happy so unsure on this problem with your buckle but I will if course do due diligence on this matter as I am a honest person"

The question is
1) Anyone dealt with them before
2) They seem to have a few buckles in various finishes
3) Does Rolex ever make a 18mm buckle?

Your suggestion is welcome as I rather lose the money and bring this issue into light to eBay and the wider online community

Phil

We are a Rolex watch discussion Forum, not an e-bay seller discussion forum..

As to your Rolex question, no, Rolex does not make an 18mm buckle for their straps. Rolex straps taper to 16mm.

It is probable that this seller is selling counterfeit buckles if they have the Rolex coronet on them and he implies that they are authentic. It is also extremely unlikely that an e-bay seller would have access to "bulk quantities" of authentic Rolex buckles.

Exactly.

RSC is just about the only place I'm comfortable buying a Rolex buckle from.

Of course they did, only gold versions exists and are used on some Cellini watches.
