They both look amazing!
I can never decide which I like more. Both solves that problem.

I've always prefered black dial watches as my past experience was white seemed to be harder to read unless the light was right. Mostly that came from a white Daytona I had.

I have noticed the same with the Tudor BHC given the hands and dial are about the same color.

Such for me is not the case with the polar EXP II. The contrast with the black outline hands sets it off from the dial and makes it very easy to read in all conditions.

I,m still on the honeymoon with the polar, but black is just great.

The Explorer II is a gorgeous, masculine, and rugged watch. For my first timepiece, it was a tough choice between the polar dial and the SubC, but I went with the Sub.. But maybe some day!
Thanks for the beautiful pictures and the inspiration Mike!

Great picture Mike.

A few years ago I would have said black without an ounce of hesitation but I'm leaning towards the white dial now.

The white dial was my first Rolex but I had such a tough time trying to decide. I'm actually quite a new fan of Rolex in the past couple of years but it was walking by a boutique window one day and catching a glimpse of the 2 ExpII's in White and Black dials that grabbed my attention. It was initially the black dial that caught my eye but after all of my research the white is what grew on me. Big time.

I have the polar as I was never keen on the noir but Mike your pics has me changing my opinion!

I better avoid your threads in future!

Great pics and for many, a difficult choice if you can only have one. I went with the Polar and am still loving it.
