Fly like an eagle

My 2013 Cartier Metiers d’art Santos XL from watches and wonders Eagle motif, solid 18k white gold so surprisingly it has as much weight as my AP RO 15400

It’s hard to see the lovely blue sky unless the light hits it but the eagles eye is so amazing that was hand done with an orange tinted enamel that’s lifelike.

Trying to get the eye but we clearly need a better photographer lol

And yes she needs a polish

The green is cool, I've tried it on, but I like the blue far more. I might be biased ;) However, a lot of my friends like the blue and think it looks better with suits or other things they own.

Good luck with whatever you decide!

Medium? Lovely! I also prefer the blue. Only green I prefer is the arabic version because that green actually pops whereas the domestic one looks black

Thats a large.

I went green, it pops when the light is right. What many miss, is that its a graduated dial - lighter in the centre.

I actually prefer its chameleon like qualities

Like so many of my favorite watches, I could never appreciate the Santos De Cartier in photographs. On the wrist however, wow, what a stunner. So many dial options that are all beautiful, and most are very legible. Great size options, it’s super thin and sleek. Quick change bracelets that can be swapped in seconds and can change the look from sporty to dressy. A bracelet that can be adjusted, fitted, in seconds with no tools. This thing is incredibly well engineered.

Best part is my wife and I can share this amazing watch and enjoy it equally (obviously not at the same time :-)

WOW
I did not know they made the Medium in RG, doesn't seem they offer it anymore.
Im not a big all gold watch guy (not a TT guy at all)
My only gold watch on a bracelet is my DD 40 YG with white roman dial.
If I find a Santos De Cartier M in RG it may be my second all gold watch.

Anyway I just picked this up today and it is such a comfortable watch its unreal!

I found one in TT and bought it from overseas. From the picture it looks great, I am waiting for the package to come in, hope it looks as good as the pictures.

Thank you very much.

On their website: https://wernerwatches.de/, list as SOLD.

There is one available for the lady (no date) but I think it will be too shortl for the bracelet.

I wa differed the brown, but just didn’t really speak to me in person. The two tone with the gray dial is awesome. My only complaint in that one is that I wish the hands and numerals were also gold. If they were that’s the one I would have pulled the trigger on. If Cartier has released an all stainless steel with that gray dial that would have been the one. But can’t have it all. Maybe next year or later on they release that gray dial on the ss. Maybe a dial swap 👀 we’ll see. Did you end up getting the fume?

For me I found the blue and green too muted and it was rare for them to pop (Needed direct sunlight). This brown, I would almost call yellow or orange and it has way more life to it. Big fan. Btw, I agree the grey was also insane on the TT. I’m hoping the dual time is the very same color

I went back to that website again and see another full YG model (Ref.2964) is available, the one that sold was Ref. 2960. There is no description on their website about the size of the watches. What is the different in sizes between two references? I will have to contact them to find out more about it. I think 2964 must be bigger than 2960, in general I preferred the smaller one than the big one for Cartier.

Thanks again for your information.

i believe the 2964 is a bit smaller by a few mm. i think you would want the 2960 which is the regular carree and size

Thank you very much. I think you're right, 2964 is medium size. I will wait for my TT to arrive first and see how it fit, TT should be regular carree size.
