New MontBlanc Meistertuck! (New to me)
Dad gave me one of his Montblancs!
Dad visited Germany in the 1970's-1980's, many times. Dad was the first and only Puertorican Distributor Manager for Volkswagen in the whole World. He was the only "foreigner". All others were German Managers. He did lots of trips and well, my dad has always been a classy gentleman. He has worn Midos, Juvenias, Rados (-sigh-), and offcourse, Rolexes. And he has always wrote with, Montblancs. This one was bought in Berlin. He doesn't remember the year. He has taken care of it and it looks brand new! New cartridge as well! It's blue, but when light hits it, it looks purpleish! |

Gaby,
Sorry, but I have never seen a genuine MB pen in that color. Educate me?!! What is the series? Don't mean to throw cold water on it, but I don't believe it is genuine.

Also, the pen here has a black cap top with white star. The black cap top looks quite out of place with the blue cap. In addition, the silver colour furniture at the tip looks too short compared to normal Meisterstucks. That's why I have my doubts. If this is genuine than I do apologise. Kai |

Well, the only Meisterstuck model I know that has blue in it is the Ramese. An example here:
http://www.pensinasia.com/new/produc...4_bp_1717.html It's got Lapis blue cap and all gold furniture - gold clip, barrel, etc. |

Gaby, I wouldn't let it bother you...if you like it use it!!!
If you are concerned...take it to a MontBlanc store and have them check it out.....
