Hi, I have a question about the price tag from offical shop.
One of my friend is looking forward to buy a rolex sub, as a second hand.
And he asked me one issue he had, and I'm asking it here for him. The person selling it to my friend has more than 5 rolex watches, and he is a trust seller. The seller said he bought it from Europe, on the way of travel. It has all the main components (warranty card, box, bezel cap, chronometer medal etc..) except!! for the price tag (the green rectangle one) He said the offical shop took away the price tag and did not give it to the seller when he purchased it. We're 100% sure (since that sub has been officially checked - water proof check etc. from our country offical service center) that it is a genuine rolex sub. So, briefly, "It is true that some few rolex offical shop take away the price tag when they sell it ?" this is what we are curious about, thanks! |

Usually there is a bar code on the tag for inventory control, so, yes, it is quite common for a Dealer to remove that tag.

I got the hang tag with mine but the paper price sticker had been removed so I'd say somewhat normal.
