Trade for AP ROO Chrono

Hi All,

i am in major dilemma and I need your help and suggestion.

Should I trade my Rolex Daytona White dial (116520), Submariner (!4060M) and Explorer 2 Black (16570) for AP ROO Chrono Navy brand new?

I am dig the look of the AP for quite some time now and I am afraid that I will regret for doing this.

What do you think guys? Am I crazy enough to swap 3 watches into 1 watch?

If your afraid already I wouldn't do it. If it's a piece you feel in your head you have to have and it won't go away give it few weeks wear your watches rotating them and try on AP again and you should have your answer

Making the move to AP is something that you won't regret especially as the AP is brand new but I think the trade is weighted against you. Can't you keep the sub and add a bit of cash?

Hi Ash,

Thank you for the advise. Yes, I can. But the reason I trade all 3 Rolexes, because I still have BLNR and Portuguese Chronology that I won't sell/trade.

What do you think?

I would not do it because I am not an AP fan. My experience is that if I have to think about or ask opinions about a big dollar trade I am not sure and should wait and think. When I am really onboard for a trade I do it because I am passionate about the watch I am getting.

Even if you were passionate it would still be stupid to trade those 3 for a 42mm ROO.

If it was a 44mm that would be a good trade.

If you've already got a Rolex and a Portuguese chrono and you just want an easy trade then I'd do it.

As much as i love AP's, I personally wouldn't do it. With a 20-25% discount on the Navy, I would see if you could trade the Daytona, Explorer II, and potentially add some cash as was previously suggested because although financially it sounds about right, thats giving up a lot for only 1 watch.

I don't think I would do it... If we were talking about a ceramic diver or some kind of 44mm yes, even if it would mean adding some cash, but the 3 for a Navy seems kind of steep for me, I don't think it's very good...
