Old thread... A belated great job! It really looks factory.

How did you manage not to have any excess adhesive outside the Cyclops?

Thanks. Used the glue very sparingly. Mostly just luck, I guess, and lots of model plane building as a kid.

Great thread. Would I be wrong in wanting the cyclops vertical though to match the height of the date window? Would make more symmetrical sense to me going in lines with the watch and date window than being horizontal.

How's the glue holding up?

I considered it, but horizontal looks better, IMO. Also, it matches the original. See post #37.

The glue is still holding up, two and a half years on, with very frequent wear.
