Need help deciphering part number 24-704-5

The part number is for a case tube and I believe the 7 is for the crown which is 7mm but does anyone knows what the rest of the numbers means ?

Correct, 704 refers to a 7mm crown. The (04) stands for the new version which Rolex created after needing to change some of the materials used to make the crowns. 704-5, the last number (5) refers to pink gold. 704-0 steel,
704-3 rolled gold, 704-8 solid gold.
