Incoming!

Today I added my first ballpoint to the collection. Little more practical for getting things done. I feel like the fountain pens can come across pretentious if writing a lot outside of the house. How do you guys feel about it? Do you ever get looks for having a statement pen? I'm sure I'll continue to keep them in my daily rotation though

Nice Collection! Sometimes I do get looks for using a FP, but I work in a bank so it doesn't come off as *too* pretentious (unless someone asks me what a MB costs, then it does :-p ) I have a MB rollerball too, which you're right, is more practical. Buuut... it's just not the same writing experience.

Never considered what others might think about me using a fountain pen. After all I don't laugh (at least not out loud) when they pull out a ball point or roller ball.

My work entails filling out a form every day, which has multiple copies, so carrying a ballpoint is mandatory. Wherever I pull out a fountain pen, it causes comments which are always complimentary.
