i think it is, when the gray dealers remove the real warranty card and replace it with their own generic card.

I purchased a Tag & Omega from Jomashop back in '05 with absolutely no problems and had reasonable shipping time. Just bought off TRF from Sale2day " boris " with no problems.

Icon20 Hello !! Check out MOSCO

Not sure why but no one has mentioned MOSCO (Greg) He is one of our best other than AD peeps on this forum. He is located near the Queen City. And, watches are his full time gig. He worked very hard with me to get hold of an nib 16610LV only to have the holder of the coin nix things at the last moment. Check out his web site @ CaliberSwiss or check out his eBay site. Especially the about me part !

I wanted to buy it from an AD, however reading the posts, it seems buying it from a "gray" dealer doesn't seem to be a bad idea and somehow anastasios keeps coming up in the forum. I tried to look him up online but he is not there.

I would like to know
1. How can i get in touch with TempoKing
2. what is the difference in buying from an AD and Grey dealer (besides the price)
3. Any other info woudl be helpful

Like you I live in NYC and I finally made the decision to buy my first Rolex and also my wife's first Rolex. I looked at the ADs here in NYC and to be honest I did not like dealing with them. I found this site and several people recommended DavidSW. I contacted him here via Private Message and he called me back within 15 minutes.

I ended up buying my watches from him last Thursday and I have my watches via FedEx on Friday. He gave me an incredible price on both watches and no sales tax! Both watches came from an AD with all tags, warranty, and both watches were still in plastic. I highly recommend contacting David.
