Oyster perpetual precision- help

Hi, I've recently inherited a Rolex Oyster Perpetual precision from my late father. It's been in the family longer than me and I'm interested if anyone can help with identifying the model, year etc.
Insode the back cover it has 6150 which has been struck out and 6350 stamped separately. The serial number is 9309xx.

It's made in the first quarter of 1953.
It's a model 6350 This is the same case as a 6150. 36mm non date.
It utilizes an A296 or 775 calibre based on the 10.5 Hunter.
This would be one of the last dials of this type. SWISS MADE was dropped in 53 for SWISS. Luminous printed dials in this era are very uncommon compared to the more 50s style with applied or embossed markers. Most DEFINITELY Radium.
This looks to be a very nice unmolested watch. No indication that the case has been previously polished in my opinion. The bezel milling is as original to me.

That's a very cool watch. 36mm is a great size to wear, and the 6350 is the same reference as the first Explorers, IIRC; so some people would call your watch a pre-Explorer, but that's just a nickname. The model is Oyster Perpetual.The struck out reference number in the case-back is fine; Rolex wasn't known to waste case-backs. :-)

Thanks everyone for your help, greatly appreciated. I guess I'll just get the movement serviced and make sure it's covered on the house insurance !

It looks like it may have its original crown, probably says Brevet or has the Swiss + on it. If you take it in and have it serviced, make sure that they dont swap out that crown for a modern crown. It will hurt the collector value.
