5167a on green strap?

I was told it would be possible to fit the green strap on 5167a with modification. Can someone give more detail?

Also where can I get the green straps?

I think they just sell the khaki strap. But they discontinued it

Patek sold a tiny number of all-khaki 5167As many years ago. For some time you could get replacement khaki straps from Patek but not anymore. Not sure if they are still available for the few owners of those all-khaki 5167As if their straps wear out. Either way, not owning a khaki 5167A you will only be able to buy the khaki strap preowned. They do show up now and then on TRF, on Chrono24, or on ebay for a few grand or a few grand more...

The khaki strap for the 5168G won't fit the 5167A as far as I understand.

With a slight modification to your bank account (around $4K) it’s easy.

Personally I’d spend 10k and get red

The green strap is still being produced, but it can only be bought by those who own the LE model, and solely via Patek Salons.
They also operate under the policy that Aquanaut straps are cut and fitted to the watch before being allowed out of the store. So there’s zero chance of ordering a few, and having a couple of unopened and uncut ones to sell on for a profit.

All this has been covered before…

These straps are impossible to get from an AD. You need to pay thousands on the grey market.

I’m confused. I’ve walked into a salon and bought an extra black strap.

Well, green is very different from black (or brown) when it comes to 5167 straps. Only red may be harder to come by.

There is no blue for the 5167. Aftermarket only.

5167a on green strap?

Look at RubberB and be done with it and save yourself a lot of time and money.

Posted this in another forum. Go Rubber B. Not exactly the same as PP but quality as good (think I heard Rubber B make the OEM PP rubber straps).

I also ordered the orange.

Hey, based on the number of scratches and dings, it looks like you actually wear this watch and don't worry about it. Very impressive. A Patek owner without OCD.

Cheers.
It’s an Aquanaut (sports watch?), not a bone China tea pot.
These things need to be worn!

To be honest, if owners are OCD about watches my advice is always “stick to Rolex”. Rolex SS sports watches are pretty much indestructible.

Having said that, I have an AP 15202 and barely wear it for fear of scratches!

Same position. My 5164 is beat up and my 15202 has a few scratches as well. Luckily I'm probably never selling and I enjoy the character... And I can still sell them for more than I paid

Heres mine! I got mine from the Patek Salon but that was probably 4 years ago...

Aha! A Patek owner without OCD and yet an AP owner WITH OCD. Talk about split personality.
I, too, have a 15202 that I barely wear which, after 4 years, hasn't a single scratch and yet my 5711 is a mess.
Love the reference to the "bone china tea pot".

Haha!
I have an Aquanaut, 5726 and had a 5712.
I acquired the 15202 by accident (long story but a dealer owed me money so I took the watch instead) and was never meant to keep the 15202.

Out of all the watches I’ve ever worn I’d say the 15202 is my favourite by far. Proportions, fit, build quality, bracket, blue face etc. I absolutely love it.

It is delicate though.

Hey everyone,

Any thoughts on the "buystrap" website that seems to sell an aftermarket version of the green bracelet ? Pretty sure à store in Italy offered me this for 1000€ when it is lists for 45$ on the website.

Quality does look somewhat acceptable. Curious to hear your thoughts

Thanks
