5711 Blue vs 5726 Blue

Hi all,
I recently picked up the 5726 Blue, its a nice and stunning watch. However i feel its bit thick and heavy, I feel the 5711 is more classic design and lighter, whats your opinions? who's the winner? :D

I much prefer the 5726 because it’s more substantial on the wrist. I like both watches though.

I prefer the 5726 as I like the feeling of weight on my wrist, combined with patek complications. To me, there’s much nicer time only watches out there than the 5711.

If you think the 5726 is to thick and heavy then the 5711 is probably right up your ally.

I prefer the original personally, but both are beautiful.

5711 is the clear winner. In my eyes the dial design of the 5726 is quite sloppy and its thickness is another issue. I much prefer a date ring (see 5712 or 5740) over the (for me) useless 24h ring plus date window and don't appreciate the use of different font sizes for day/month (tiny) and date (outsized).

Tough call - I love the classic look of the 5711 and it offers a more streamlined profile.

The complications of 5726 having the annual calendar and moon phase are pretty fantastic - just a little extra touch that I happen to like on this caliber of watch.

i like the 5711 more due to the simplicity of the dial. i generally like clean dials on sport watches. to me two of the best duos would be 5711 and 5167a. can’t comment on thickness though as i’ve never seen a 5726 in person.

Also prefer and purchased the 5711. Great weight and simple dial. Also, closest to the original Genta design.

In ss I like more the 26, 11 can be a bit plain and lightweight for me.

felt the 5711 wore a bit small, 5726 wore better being thicker and heavier.

The 5726 is an awesome watch but the 5711 is the more classic representation. That being said I prefer the ‘26 and it’s layout and complications.

I found the 5726 to be the perfect Nautilus on my 7.15” wrist. The 5711 was a bit too small, the 5990 seemed to look a little bloated and the 5726 is the 1st Nautilus that has felt as though it’s exactly the right watch for me.

defenitly the 5711 because of thinness (i actully own the 5712 which i believe is the same thickness as the 5711). the 5726 is a little bit thick (plus i have so many calendar watches :)).

Definitely the 5711 out of the two for the thinness of the watch. Once you’re used to it, there’s no going back.

Another vote for 5711 and I’ve owned both. To me it’s perfect.

If you are looking for the perfect balance in a Nautilus between slimness and complications, look at 5712/1A. Just perfect...

Any Nautilus is currently out of my league, but if I were picking between these two, I'd choose the 5726. I also think the 5712 and 5990 are absolutely awesome!

I got the 5711 blue after the 5726 and although I like the romantic nature of the moonphase, the watch feels too thick and bulky on comparison now.

For those of you voting for 5726, do any have the leather bracelet version? I'm looking to pull the trigger on one because they can be found for approx $10k over retail, whereas the ss bracelet is going for 2x+ retail.

Yep I had the leather version and didn’t like it - just too thick and strap with just didn’t seem to go with it. Out of all my PP pieces my 5711 gets the most wrist time. I would spend 10 grand more for the bracelet on 5726 and also get the blue face to boot- makes it a different watch imo. james in San Antonio Tx:-)

Ps to answer Op’s question - if I cold only have one - hands down 5711. But both 5726 on bracelet and 5711 make a great two to have. jmo

Talking up my own book but prefer thinner in this one. I have APs for chunky watches. I like how perfectly the 5711 fits and how it “disappears” on the wrist.
