To buy or not to buy???

Fellow enthusiasts.
With bitcoin sitting at circa $19600 which i bought years ago for a few dollars i cant help but think it was an amazing investment.
At the same time i want to add a patek to my collection and really love the look of the 5270p.
Would this be a good addition to a watch collection and a first patek?

IMO I prefer Patek, but i also prefer the nautilus over the 5270p. But the RM is really nice, is it worth the money? idk, but i'd take it over the 5270p

Which nautilus? You prefer the RM over the 5270

Yes i think the RM is nicer than that specific Patek. The Patek i consider a grail piece would be the 59801r, again, this is all just personal preference

Pretty heavy first Patek, but I'd certainly cash in the BTC winnings and put them into something more tangible.

The rm11-03 wears VERY thick. Much prefer the rm30 and you can save a few bucks.

i’d get a patek before RM. hell i’d get an aquanaut or nautilus if you’re intersed in sport models. Feel RM is over rated and won’t stand test of time like Patek.

RM 11-03 isn't an in-house movement like the Patek.

I have both watches. This is not at all a fair comparison.

I got the 11-03 first back in late 2017 Msrp price and the 5270p later. I would say ok very solid grounds that both are completely different leagues.

The RM 11-03 as it is thick and different, amazingly is a state of art piece you wear it and it opens all doors. The feeling itself is different and it’s a very casual watch, impossible to wear with a formal attire. Finally, with ordinary people not watch ehnthusiastics they will all stop you and ask you which brand is this as it looks amazing.

Whilst, the 5270p is a classy dress watch, much normal people won’t understand it, it’s a watch that you wear for your own personal satisfaction.

To conclude, if you decide to wait on selling your bitcoins to get a higher price, wait and get both watches

The 5270p is amazing. I wouldn’t hesitate at all.
The RM is totally not to my taste but if it sings to you more then it’s up to you.
Post pics of the 5270 when you get it! Haha

I’d recommend the 5270P or /1R depending on your tastes.
