New Here! Question about my Rolex Clasp

I got an old Rolex gifted to me and the person who gave it to me got it second hand I believe from a pawn shop. The clasp however spells patented wrong as ‘patened’ I am wondering if therefore this is fake or it is spelled like that for whatever reason as I have little knowledge and couldn’t find a proper answer on the internet other than an old rolex with the same spelling being sold for $20,000 on an auction website making me wonder if this is how it used to be spelt?
Thank you all answers appreciated.

Also just wondering if there was anywhere on this website (and whereabouts) I could post images of the watch to check its legitimacy, if that is allowed?

Seems fake, letters should be stamped in and not engraved.

There are some well known mis-prints on Rolex parts and watches.

In this case the bracelet shown is counterfeit.

Cheers, this is supposedly from the 1970s (Datejust 1603) any chance it’s normal on that? Furthermore, what you think the chances are that only the clasp is fake?

Appreciate it, I’m guessing this is not one of those mis prints? Or is it and there is something else that made you come to the conclusion this was counterfeit?
Thank you

Thank you
Part number is wrong, stampings are wrong, and the mis-print too, that's at least 3 strikes without going any further.

Put more pics of watch head up, might just be a strap change as bezel looks legit

Some early 1970s oyster bracelets with folded links (ref 9315) for the Submariner of that era (ref 1680) had the misspelling PATETED instead of PATENTED on the diver's extension. Never heard of PATENED, and certainly you would not find a diver's extension on a Datejust.

Need more pictures of the watch itself. Perhaps the bracelet was just changed to an aftermarket

Sorry I missed this reply earlier, I’ve posted pictures of the watch and another user of the forum believes it to be real

Crowncollection is a real expert, it takes many years and much more watches passing your hands to become one.
You can trust his opinion.
