As I wait for the refreshing taste of Pepsi...

I was late to appreciate the jubilee on the Pepsi. My bad...

As I wait for the call on that, this little guy grabbed my attention. The dial is hypnotic.

As you can see from my signature, my wrist has minimal chances of ever being naked... so... am I crazy to think about adding this?

Go ahead and pick it up...it’ll hold you over until you get the Pepsi. Fwiw I think it’s a decent looking watch, not sure how much it costs but seeing as it’s GS probably a couple thousand.

GS makes great watches. Before buying my Tudor BB GMT I was looking at a GS GMT. My choice came down to the fact that I wanted something more sporty than the GS.

I think that the watch you posted would be a nice dressy companion to the Pepsi.

Prolly get better validation if this was in the Seiko section...

Good luck on your Pepsi waitlist.

I tried on some GS last week while on vacation and was blown away. I have always had Rolex and always will, but the level of craftsmanship, accuracy, and value is unmatched period. I can’t think of more watch for the money then grand seiko and Love the fact that they fly way under the radar. I’m not a guy who needs to get noticed or wants to get noticed for my watch, and GS does modesty and restraint better than anyone.

Thanks. I’m an idiot for passing on it earlier. But I have been assured it won’t be a long wait...

Seiko is weird for me. I really like their Seiko line especially the SKX divers (I have one). Tried on Grand Seiko and they don’t do much for me. Love them in pics but not in person.

OP, buy if it really sings to you. If it’s just nice/ok then pass.

Get the GS. I personally prefer that anniversary model (SBGH267) in the 3-hand blue spiral logo, but it still is a fantastic piece. No regrets. You’ll have the Pepsi when it becomes available.

I’m not settling... I’ll still get the BLRO. Just adding a bit of funk.

I ended up getting it... also walked out with a zenith defy. oops!

Both the Defy and GS are stunning pieces. You're not missing anything with the BLRO as the GS is a real keeper. Beautiful dial.
