Can someone here give me a second opinion?

Hey everyone -
I'm about to buy my dream watch (a 16570 polar) from a guy in Boston
I've never bought a rolex and I don't personally know anyone else who is into watches that could give me a second opinion.

I just want to make sure i'm not getting ripped off here.

Unfortunately i can't post links here yet (i'm new) but if you're willing to help out, maybe i can DM them to you.

thank you, everyone. I'd really appreciate any help anyone is willing to provide.

Are you buying it from an individual or a dealer out here?

I would find a reputable jeweler in your area that could take a look at it for you before purchase. Unless you know this individual personally; there is far to much that could go wrong taking the purchase go ahead advice from someone looking at photos on the internet. If this is your dream Rolex you want to be able to enjoy it with 100% confidence and having a professional look at it would be the only thing to ease my mind.

Sure someone will chime in with recommended places you could take it to in your area.

Look forward to the incoming and congratulations on your dream watch.

Consider getting a price for that watch from a grey dealer like DavidSW. He is on this forum and ships worldwide.

Agreed. That watch is far too easy to find to risk it.

Why are you so desperate to buy this watch without knowing what you are buying?

Buy the seller as they say. There are many great trusted sellers here on this forum who I’d rather deal with if nothing else just for the peace of mind

Slow down bro or you gonna get rooked!. Enjoy the search! There are a lot of these out there including from a bunch of great sellers on this form. This is, by the way, my favorite Rolex of all time.
