The blue snowflake is special and a fun weekend watch. Love the top hat crystal and rarer vintage aspects.

Both of these watches are why I love the Tudor GMT so much. It's the best of both.

But if you can only choose one, it's the GMT II.

X2.

That was easy Dan.

There is your answer!

I have a blue Snowflake personally and I love it for almost daily wear (save for most Speedy Tuesdays). Much like some of the other commenters, when you put this against a 5513 or 1680/800, I think you can get a much more interesting Snowflake at a lower price point - they are rising quickly though. With that said, a 16710 is a best of both worlds watch: Modern lume, quickset/jumping hour movement, reliability all in a neo-vintage, non-Maxi case. Who wouldn't want one?!

I would go for the blue snowflake. Prices are rising quickly and it is not easy to find a good one.

You would also avoid the tricky waters of buying a vintage Tudor. Buying the Rolex, as a newer reference, would not have quite as many minefields to navigate compared to the world of vintage watches.

Good luck either way.
Agreed. It might be slightly more satisfying to find that perfect Tudor, but I'd still go for the 16710/16700 for the same reasons you mentioned.

Very different pieces on the wrist. Go with the one you like more.
