One of the main reasons preowned Lange entry models are an absolute bargain must be the fact that they look so different real life. Almost any image on socials and grey dealers websites are just nothing but terrible and make these watches look very dull and boring. IRL they are such ultra fine watches and the warmth is simply impossible to catch on a photograph.

(Must admit that Mario1971 is one of the great exceptions with his gorgeous 1815 U/D images on this forum ;)
GreatCircle, thank you so much for appreciating my photos, taken with a regular Samsung S9.

And the @ edhahn44 and @raclaims collections are fantastic!

If anyone is interested I saw this 1. gen. Lange 1 ref. 101.001 with a rather low estimate:

https://www.dorotheum.com/en/l/7242247/

They also have an early 102.002:

I'm sure Lange would do a better job at it than this mod, which I can never unsee.

Superb pictures Mario!
Doubted endless between your reference and mine, finally chose the 233.032 . For a rosegold dresswatch the 40mm seems sort of oversized but I really like that! And these are still crazy cheap in Lange-land , an important detail ;)

I love it, it’s a killer piece the absolute stealth chrono. As I wrote already, imo the best pure chrono in the market right now. Get one before aftermarket prices fetch retail levels…

Thanks for info :)

And do you prefer boutique vs aftermarket? I have never bought any of my watches preowned/aftermarket/grey market. Whats your thoughts in regards to Lange.

I think aftermarket prices for the 414.028 have gone up recently. Not sure how much you'd save vs. boutique nowadays. Also, the 414.028 qualifies you for the steel Odysseus waitlist.

Yes, gap is closing quite quickly currently. I still see a delta of approx. € 15k between aftermarket and retail prices for this specific model, at least for mildly used pieces (and in EU).

Depends a bit on your preferences whether you want to have boutique experience or not.

Boutique 100% :)
I have placed an order for 414.028 (over 414.031). I went with black dial and white gold case. I think its classic. Your thoughts?

Also I will be changing strap to white, green or orange. I will wait to see what looks good.

Estimate time of arrival 2-4 months. Hopefully both 414.028 and 363.038 will arrive by Aug/Sep!!!

Beautiful line up!
If you don’t mind me asking what is the reference on the third from the left with the purple dial?
Thanks

Very nice! Can you tell me, which Lange 1 references are 4th from left and 2nd from right -- the ones that look similar? It's hard to tell from the pic.

Also, some of these watches have tang buckles but most have deployants. I can't tell from the angle -- are those Lange single-fold (common) deployants, Lange double-fold/butterfly deployants, or some other brand of buckle? It looks like you have some butterflies but I'm not sure.

Thanks!

All the deployants are the double fold butterfly. The left is the Little Lange 1 25th anniversary. The right one is the Lange 1 25th. My wife and I wanted matching watches and these were perfect for that.

In case other questions there is the honey gold enamel dial 2nd from left that was released last year.

On order is the diamond bezel LL1 aventurine dial moonphase will make it ten when it gets here!

Beautiful selection, Pisa and Handwerkkunst are special but plenty of other beauties as well. PLM, Langematik Anniversary and an Emil Lange. The RG and WG pair look amazing, which model?
