Great shots. Users who take and submit photos this nice make this forum all the better. Which watch gets more wrist time?

I would have to say its pretty even at the moment as they are both new toys. I think in time the Sea Dweller will be babied a little more and only come out for special occasions. Saying that, a watch should be worn and not locked up out of sight so we will have to see!

And thanks for the nice comments.

Two great looking watches. It was good to see (and compare the two in) the side by side photos

does anybody agree with me here when I say that seeing the pic of those two side by side, I actuaaly saw the time only in the SMP and got lost somehow in the Sea-Dweller...there is something mystefying about it...I wouldn't see time in that watch, I'd get lost in it, and this is happening whenever I look at them and think if I were wearing one i get the feeling I'd have to have the SMP to tell time...I just dont get a feel of time in the SD...I dont mean to say anything is better or anything..just a very mystical feeling in the SD...anybody agree or feel the same?...I think this may be the low sleep, high work routine speaking and I am actually only screwed in the head these days so getting the floaty feeling

Both are great but think I have to agree with you on this one for sure. The way it has dots all the way around as minute markers makes it much easier to read elapsed time or time in general at a glance. A true function & luxury watch. This model is VERY popular with Omega lovers.

Nah I noticed that too espectially after reading your post. Maybe the angle or different dial design in lighting but either way that Seamaster to me is a far more legible dial in general. Not saying the Sea-Dweller is not a stunning watch! Just feel also that you get so much more for the money with the Omega, a true beater yet luxury. Love how with the Omega you can switch out individual links / pins accept for the first 4 down from the end link, including the pins in the clasp and dive expansion etc etc. Just a watch you can truly use as it was made for and not worry to much of long term parts / repair costs in my books.
